Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a leading civil engineering consultancy. You'll take a key role in delivering projects from small highway improvements to large residential and commercial developments.
Role Overview
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
*
Lead the design of highways, junctions, drainage systems, and civil infrastructure.
*
Work from concept through detailed design, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements.
*
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
*
Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and statutory bodies.
About You
*
Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with 8+ years' post-graduate experience.
*
Strong experience in highway and junction design, drainage strategies, flood risk assessments.
*
Skilled in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, 3D modelling, Vehicle Tracking, Flow/Microdrainage.
*
Knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN1/20, NRSWA, and adoption processes.
*
Excellent communication, time management, and mentoring skills.
*
Chartered status (CIHT/ICE/CIWEM) or working towards is desirable.
Desirable
*
Experience with public realm, active travel, cycling infrastructure, major highways, utilities coordination, or site supervision.
*
Ability to produce technical reports and fee proposals.
