An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Ecologist to join a well-established, multidisciplinary environmental consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering ecology, landscape, arboriculture, heritage and planning services across the UK. Based near Milton Keynes, this growing consultancy offers the chance for a Senior Ecologist to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, renewable energy and development projects alongside experienced in-house specialists. The Senior Ecologist will play a key role in project delivery, mentoring colleagues and maintaining high technical standards. The role:
* Deliver ecological surveys, assessments and technical reports
* Manage projects from inception through to completion
* Produce EcIA, BNG and protected species documentation
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies
* Mentor junior ecologists and support business development
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Senior Ecologist or in a similar consultancy role
* Strong ecological report writing and project management skills
* Membership of CIEEM or working towards it
* Protected species licence desirable
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK
* Must live in or near the Milton Keynes office
* Willingness to undertake site visits and fieldwork
