A leading independent environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist to join its expanding team in Ipswich. Renowned for delivering innovative ecological and environmental consultancy services across infrastructure, development and land management projects, the business offers a collaborative culture where technical expertise and professional development are genuinely valued.
As a Senior Ecologist, you'll lead a variety of ecological surveys, manage projects from inception through to completion, prepare high-quality technical reports, advise clients on ecological constraints and mitigation, and support the development of junior team members. Working alongside experienced specialists, the Senior Ecologist will contribute to delivering practical, sustainable solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Requirements:
* Degree in Ecology or a related environmental discipline
* Previous consultancy experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and survey techniques
* Excellent report writing and project management skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK
* Living in or within a commutable distance of the Ipswich office
* Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior colleagues
