Responsibilities

As a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

* Leading and delivering a variety of ground investigation projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

* Collaborating closely with clients and the Geotechnical team to provide expert guidance and solutions.

* Reviewing technical reports and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

* Supervising on-site activities, including risk assessments and health & safety protocols.

* Mentoring and training junior staff, fostering their professional growth.

* Supporting the team in achieving chartership and personal development goals.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

* A relevant degree in a related field (e.g., Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering).

* Demonstrable experience in Geo-Environmental consultancy, with a strong technical background.

* Chartered status with a recognized professional body.

* A full UK driving license.

* Proximity to the Birmingham office or willingness to commute.

Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will involve a mix of office-based and fieldwork tasks, ensuring variety and engagement in your role. You will:

* Conduct technical reviews of reports and provide expert recommendations.

* Oversee on-site investigations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

* Prepare and implement risk assessments for various projects.
