Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant

£38,000 - £42,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Birmingham. This role offers the chance to work across a wide range of geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects throughout the UK, supporting major residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects from initial site investigation through to reporting and client liaison, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
The Role
* Managing and delivering geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects
* Producing factual and interpretative reports
* Overseeing ground investigations and site works
* Preparing remediation strategies and validation reports
* Client liaison and project management responsibilities
* Mentoring and supporting junior consultants
* Assisting with business development and proposal preparation
Requirements
* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or related subject
* Experience within a geoenvironmental or geotechnical consultancy environment
* Strong report writing and project management skills
* Knowledge of contaminated land and ground investigation processes
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Full UK driving licence
