Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer - Leeds

£38,000 - £42,000

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Leeds is looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on more responsibility, with a good balance of technical delivery, project management, and mentoring.

You'll be working across a range of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, playing a key role in delivering reports and supporting the wider team.

What you'll be doing:

* Managing site investigations from planning through to completion

* Writing and reviewing Phase I and Phase II reports

* Carrying out risk assessments (GQRA/DQRA)

* Designing remediation strategies where required

* Acting as a point of contact for clients

* Supporting and mentoring junior team members

* Liaising with regulators and ensuring compliance

What we are looking for:

* Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or similar

* Strong experience within a geoenvironmental / contaminated land role

* Confident report writing and interpretation skills

* Experience managing projects and overseeing site works

* Good understanding of UK guidance and regulations

* Chartership (or working towards it) is desirable
