Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Nottingham
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits (depending on experience)
A great opportunity has opened for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a respected ground investigation and geotechnical consultancy in Nottingham. This role would suit an engineer with around 5 years of industry experience who is looking to take on more responsibility within project delivery and technical reporting.
You will be joining an experienced team working across a range of infrastructure, residential and commercial developments, contributing to both the planning and delivery of ground investigation and geotechnical projects.
The Role
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will support the delivery of projects from planning stage through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams.
Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and coordinating ground investigation programmes
*
Overseeing site works including boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing
*
Reviewing and interpreting ground investigation data
*
Producing geotechnical reports and foundation recommendations
*
Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and geologists
*
Communicating with clients, contractors and project teams
*
Assisting with project management and delivery
Requirements
*
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology or a related discipline
*
Around 5 years of experience within ground investigation or geotechnical consultancy
*
Experience with site investigations, data interpretation and reporting
*
Knowledge of UK geotechnical standards and practices
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
