Rubicon's client, a well-established organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products, is seeking a proactive and people-focused Senior Operative to join their operations team in Poole. As Senior Operative, you will benefit from:

Rotating shift pattern: Week 1 (6am-2pm), Week 2 (2pm-10pm), Week 3 (10pm-6am)

As Senior Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment in line with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Standard Operating Procedures

Leading and developing your team through coaching, performance conversations, and development plans

Promoting a culture of safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement

Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth and effective operations

Managing labour and materials to meet production schedules and budget requirements

Deputising for the Shift Manager and contributing to site-wide improvement projects

As Senior Operative, your experience will include:

Previous experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational environment

Strong people management and interpersonal skills

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

Awareness of Health, Safety, Environmental, and hygiene standards

A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective relationships across departments

Basic hygiene qualification (desirable) and computer literacy
