Job Title: Children's Social Worker

Location: South West London

Salary: £49,000 - £51,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reports To: Team Manager / Senior Social Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Children's Social Worker to join our dedicated team in South West London. This full-time, permanent role involves safeguarding vulnerable children, assessing their needs, and working closely with families and multi-agency partners to improve outcomes for children in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks.

Develop and implement child-centred care plans.

*

Support children and families to make positive changes.

*

Manage a caseload with timely interventions and reviews.

*

Attend child protection conferences, court hearings, and multi-agency meetings.

*

Maintain accurate records, reports, and case notes.

*

Promote safeguarding policies and respond promptly to concerns.

*

Collaborate effectively with schools, health professionals, and community agencies.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England or equivalent.

*

Experience working with children and families in a social work role.

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child development, and relevant legislation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage complex cases and work under pressure.
