Senior Sustainability Consultant

They are looking to hire a knowledgeable and motivated Senior Sustainability Consultant to play a key role within their expanding specialist team!

Requirements for applicants:
* A formal qualification in sustainability, environmental management or a built-environment discipline
* Significant relevant experience in sustainability consultancy
* Strong track record of delivering environmental assessments including BREEAM, LEED, Ska and/or WELL
* In-depth understanding of environmental policy, sustainability legislation and best practice
* Experience leading or managing sustainability workstreams within design teams
* Proficiency with life cycle analysis tools such as OneClick LCA
* Experience delivering net zero carbon, circularity and embodied carbon assessments
* Strong technical writing abilities, including complex reports and planning documentation
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
* Ability to mentor and support junior team members
* Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Duties and responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to lead on a broad portfolio of high-profile projects across workplace, healthcare, education, cultural, heritage, leisure and residential sectors. Responsibilities include:
* Leading the development of sustainability strategies and frameworks
* Overseeing net zero carbon assessments (operational and embodied)
* Managing lifecycle and circularity assessments
* Leading environmental and wellbeing assessments including BREEAM, LEED, Ska and WELL
* Guiding planning documentation such as Sustainability and Energy Statements
* Supporting NABERS, post-occupancy evaluation and building optimisation
* Providing ESG-related consultancy
* Advising design teams to influence proposals and champion low-impact, healthy, future-ready solutions
* Supporting business development, thought leadership and internal upskilling initiatives
* Contributing to the company's sustainability strategy and internal environmental management
