Senior Town Planner

Location: Leeds

With a diverse portfolio and strong pipeline of work, this is an exciting time to join and play a key role in the continued success and growth of the business.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Town Planner role will have experience delivering a range of planning projects from initial strategy through to decision, along with a strong understanding of the local planning landscape and confidence in client-facing situations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading on planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals

*

Providing planning strategy advice to clients across various sectors

*

Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants

*

Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team

*

Assisting with business development and growing client relationships

*

Staying up to date with relevant planning legislation and policy

Requirements:

*

RTPI-accredited degree and MRTPI status (or working towards if at a near-final stage)

*

Experience in a similar role within a consultancy or local authority

*

Strong report writing, communication, and project management skills

*

A commercial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving

*

Comfortable operating independently and as part of a team

*

Full UK driving licence preferred
