Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant - EIA & Consenting

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be representing a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in their search for a Senior or Principal Environmental Consultant to join their expanding Environment team in Scotland.

The Opportunity
*
Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related deliverables on a range of projects.
*
Collaborate closely with technical specialists to deliver innovative, sustainable outcomes.
*
Manage client relationships and help develop new areas of business.
*
Mentor junior colleagues and support their professional development.
*
Play an active role in bids and business growth across Scotland and the wider UK.
About You
*
Degree or master's in an environmental or related discipline.
*
Chartered, or working towards chartership (e.g. IEMA, RTPI, LI, CIWEM, CIEEM).
*
Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
*
Strong knowledge of EIA processes, consenting, and environmental management.
*
Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
*
Confident in managing client needs and delivering high-quality outputs to deadlines.
*
Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about sustainability and environmental performance.
