Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career? We're working with a respected national planning and development consultancy with an established reputation for delivering high-quality, commercially astute planning advice across a broad range of sectors. Due to continued growth, their Midlands team is looking to appoint a Senior or Principal Planner to join their supportive and collaborative planning division.

The Opportunity:

You'll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments. The role offers a genuine opportunity to develop your professional skills while playing a key role in shaping planning strategy and client relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and deliver a range of planning applications and appeals.

Provide expert advice to clients across both private and public sectors.

Lead on projects with autonomy and accountability.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Midlands office.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, developers, and landowners.

About You:

MRTPI qualified (or equivalent).

*

Strong consultancy or local authority experience, ideally with a focus on development-led planning.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

*

A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to lead client interactions.
