Job title: Sheet Metal Fabricator

Location: Dartford

Salary: up to £17.96 per hour / £35,489 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Friday!

Our client:

Our client is a well-established specialist in bespoke metal fabrication, delivering high-quality metalwork solutions across a range of sectors.

The role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Fabricator to support with the manufacturing, assembling and finishing of metalwork components, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Benefits:

* 20 days annual leave (increasing to 25 days) + bank holidays

* OT paid at x1.5

* Company pension

Key responsibilities would be:

* Fabricate sheet metal components from technical drawings and specifications.

* Cut, bend, shape and assemble materials using hand tools and machinery.

* Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes.

* Carry out MIG and TIG welding.

* Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

* Work with a variety of metals including steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

Experience and skills required:

* Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Skilled in the use of fabrication machinery and hand tools

* MIG/TIG welding experience

* Strong attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Reliable, punctual and proactive
