Site Manager – Newport, Wales (Data Centre Fit Out) £60,000-£70,000 + Package (car allowance, bonus, pension etc.)  Location: Newport, Wales Project: Fit out of administrative building within a data centre campus Position Type: Permanent, full-time Overview An exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor to oversee the fit out of an administrative building on a data centre project in Newport. The role is ideal for candidates with experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or similar high-spec projects. Key Responsibilities - Manage all on-site activities for the fit-out package, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality. - Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to maintain efficient site operations. - Implement and enforce site health & safety standards at all times. - Review drawings and specifications, proactively resolving any technical or coordination issues. - Monitor programme schedules, progress, and quality, reporting to senior management as required. - Liaise with project stakeholders including design teams, consultants, and supply chain partners. - Maintain comprehensive site records in line with company and statutory requirements. Requirements - Degree or trade qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar discipline. - Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager on data centre, pharma, industrial, or large-scale fit-out projects. - Strong understanding of fit-out methodologies and coordination of complex services. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to drive high standards and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
