As a SMT Technician , your responsibilities will include:
Setting up, running, and monitoring Europlacer SMT placement machines to meet output and quality targets
Completing product changeovers efficiently and accurately to keep production on schedule
Carrying out basic fault-finding and escalating issues promptly to minimise downtime
Performing routine checks and adjustments to maintain consistent placement quality
Following build instructions and process documentation to ensure standards are met
Keeping the work area organised and supporting continuous improvement on the line
As a SMT Technician , your experience will include:
Essential, recent Europlacer machine experience within an SMT production environment
3+ years of consistent, relevant SMT experience, ideally within high-throughput manufacturing
Confidence working at pace while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
A practical, reliable approach, with the ability to spot issues early and act quickly
Comfortable working in an active role, on your feet for most of the day
