We are working with a fantastic college passionate about transforming lives through education. They support young people and adults with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities to achieve their aspirations and live as independently as possible.

We are now looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and multidisciplinary team in the Kingston region.

About the Role

You will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse communication needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Working collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred interventions across both universal and specialist levels.

Key responsibilities include:

* Assessing and supporting students' communication and swallowing needs

* Delivering individual and group therapy sessions

* Supporting the development of a "total communication" environment

* Providing guidance, training and coaching to staff

* Contributing to multidisciplinary working within Integrated Services

About You

We are looking for a creative and passionate therapist who

* Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy

* Is HCPC registered

* Has experience (or strong interest) in working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism

* Is committed to person-centred, functional, and innovative practice

* Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
