Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Operations
- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with contractual KPIs and SFG20 standards
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems
- Take ownership of tasks from initial call-out through to completion, ensuring accurate job documentation
Technical & Compliance
- Diagnose system faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and produce clear technical reports
- Maintain F-Gas records, site logbooks, and compliance documentation
- Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, company procedures, and health & safety standards
- Upload completed job reports and documentation to the CAFM system
Client & Team Engagement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site contacts
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues and wider teams to achieve service objectives
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times
Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
- Manage materials and spare parts efficiently, identifying shortages or improvement opportunities
- Proactively identify risks, hazards, or system issues to maintain a safe working environment
- Contribute ideas to improve engineering processes, operational efficiency, and service delivery
Flexibility
- Participate in overtime and additional works when required to support operational demands or urgent maintenance needs
Requirements Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an AC / Refrigeration Engineer
- Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (6187 or equivalent)
- F-Gas Handling & Management (City & Guilds 2079) certification
- Category 2 certification (or equivalent)
Skills & Competencies
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience using CAFM systems, ideally via handheld devices
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused with a commitment to high service standards
- Proactive, motivated, and keen to develop professionally
