Academics are working with a range of supportive secondary schools in Doncaster who are seeking enthusiastic English specialists to deliver high-quality lessons on a temporary, ongoing basis.
Position: Supply English Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Schools: Welcoming secondary schools across Doncaster
Pay: £140 - £195 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you
About the Role
As a Supply English Teacher in Doncaster, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop key literacy skills and confidence.
You may be required to teach within your English specialism or provide general cover across other subjects, depending on school needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Adapt to different school settings across Doncaster
* Support pupils with reading, writing and analytical skills
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Follow safeguarding and school policies
Candidate Requirements
* QTS or equivalent
* Experience teaching English at secondary level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Flexible and reliable approach
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
