An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join its successful English department from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire a love of literature and language in students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners.

The successful candidate will:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English.
* Demonstrates high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
* Is committed to providing excellent teaching and learning experiences.
* Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
