Are you an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Blacon, Chester?
We're working with welcoming primary schools looking for reliable and caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils in the classroom. Whether you're looking for regular supply work or short-term placements, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll work closely with teachers to:
* Support learning in the classroom and with small groups
* Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour
* Help children stay engaged with their learning
* Promote safeguarding and children's wellbeing at all times
What You'll Need
* Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
* Good understanding of safeguarding
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (we can help with this)
* A positive, patient and proactive approach
