Teaching Assistant - Doncaster
Academics are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to cover daily supply needs across primary schools in Doncaster.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Daily supply, temporary (ongoing)
School: Supportive and inclusive primary schools in Doncaster
Pay: £88.94 - £95 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support schools on a day-to-day basis, providing classroom assistance where required. You may be working one-to-one, with small groups, or across the whole class to help children access learning. This is a flexible role that allows you to gain experience in a variety of Doncaster schools, while having control over the days you are available to work.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum.
* Provide additional support for children with SEN or learning difficulties.
* Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Follow school behaviour and safeguarding policies at all times.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
✔ Previous classroom or child-related experience.
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A flexible, patient, and supportive approach.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
