Are you passionate about making a difference to young people with additional needs? We're working with a specialist secondary school in Rushden that supports learners with autism, communication differences, and complex learning needs. They are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team, with the opportunity to move into a permanent role.
What you'll do:
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN
* Assist teachers with differentiated learning and structured activities
* Build strong, trusting relationships to promote independence and confidence
* Support emotional regulation, communication, and positive behaviour
* Help maintain a calm, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Contribute to education and training plans tailored to each student's needs
We're looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about SEN and supporting young people to succeed
* Has experience with autism, communication needs, or challenging behaviours (school-based or transferable)
* Is patient, resilient, and proactive
