SEN Teaching Assistant
Education and Training Sector
Location: Ware
Pay: £460 - £500 per week
Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing consistent emotional support and reassurance to pupils
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
* Encouraging the development of confidence, independence, and resilience
* Implementing strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
* Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging learning activities
* Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and supportive classroom environment
Academics is currently recruiting a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive SEN provision in Ware. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and manage social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. This role is ideal for graduates or individuals with experience or a strong interest in psychology, SEMH, youth work, mental health, or education.
