We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Chelmsford that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their support team. This position will initially be offered as a fixed-term contract, with the school aiming to offer a permanent opportunity from September for the successful candidate.

Job Overview:

* This school caters for students aged 11-16.

* Full-time, Monday - Friday, Teaching Assistant role.

* Provide classroom and one-to-one support for students across KS3-KS4.

* Support students with additional learning, behavioural, or emotional needs.

* Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to deliver targeted interventions and support strategies.

* Help students remain engaged, focused, and confident within lessons.

* Support positive behaviour management and encourage student participation.

* Assist with monitoring student progress and reporting concerns where appropriate.

* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

* Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
