Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role in a local secondary school?

Academics, a specialist Teacher Recruitment Agency, are acting as an agency on behalf of an inclusive secondary school in Ellesmere Port who are now recruiting a dedicated and reliable individual to work as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant starting 1st June 2026.
What You'll Do
* Provide dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant support to a secondary-aged student
* Help the student access learning and stay engaged in lessons
* Work closely with teaching staff to support progress and inclusion
* Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
* Build a strong, consistent relationship as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant within the school day
Ideal Background
We are looking for an experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant with:
* Proven experience working in a school setting
* A calm, patient and proactive approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
