TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - AIR QUALITY - £70,000 to £85,000 + Benefits
A global environmental and climate engineering consultancy is looking for a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - AIR QUALITY to lead and develop its UK air quality services in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level specialist to guide strategy, grow technical delivery, and mentor a national team of consultants.
As a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - AIR QUALITY, you will oversee large-scale assessments across planning, transport, and infrastructure. You will manage modelling outputs, engage with major clients and regulators, and contribute to national and international technical standards and innovation from the Brighton office.
We are seeking a TECHNICAL DIRECTOR - AIR QUALITY with:

10+ years of experience in air quality consultancy or regulation
*
Expertise in ADMS, LAQM, EPUK/IAQM guidance, and relevant UK policy
*
Strong understanding of GIS, dispersion modelling, and data analysis
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills
*
Chartered status with IAQM/IES or actively working toward it
*
A full UK driving licence (preferred)
