As a Technical Publications Author, your responsibilities will include:

Creating and maintaining a range of technical documents including CMMs, SILs, training manuals, installation instructions, and service bulletins

Ensuring all publications align with relevant industry standards and internal quality processes

Supporting improvements in documentation methods, systems, and workflows

Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, configuration, and customer support teams

Managing your workload to meet documentation deadlines and on time delivery performance targets

As a Technical Publications Author, your experience will include:

Experience compiling technical publications within an engineering or manufacturing environment

Proficiency with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker or similar

Experience with 2D illustration software such as IsoDraw

Understanding of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE 100)

Knowledge of technical standards such as iSpec2200 (desirable)

Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and to strict deadlines
