Are you a Tool Maker looking for a role where you're involved in the full design and build process? Do you enjoy turning technical drawings into high-quality tools and want to be part of a business that invests in your growth? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting for a Tool Maker to join a specialist kitchen component manufacturer based in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dedicated tool room where you'll be involved in the end-to-end creation of plastic injection mould tools, using both CAD and other design software, as well as hands-on machinery, to bring customer specifications to life.

Location: Corby

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

* Design and manufacture tooling for plastic injection moulding from scratch

* Interpret customer specifications and produce high-quality technical solutions

* Use CAD and similar software along with workshop machinery to develop tooling in-house

* Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure tool readiness for production

* Maintain a safe and organised working environment

* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

The ideal candidate must:

* Be an experienced or time-served Tool Maker

* Have a background in plastic injection moulding (desirable but not essential)

* Be confident using CAD and other relevant design software, plus manual machining equipment

* Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and quality

* Be self-motivated and capable of managing their own projects

* Work well both independently and as part of a team
