Duties for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:
* Provide planning advice to clients across various development projects
* Manage planning applications from inception through to determination
* Prepare planning appraisals and statements to support planning documentation
* Liaise with local planning authorities, clients and stakeholders
* Support strategic planning and development projects
Skills and experience for the role of Town Planner/Senior Town Planner:
* Degree within Town Planning or another related degree
* Relevant experience in a Town Planning role within a planning consultancy or local authority
* Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and planning policy
* Previous experience with planning applications and development projects
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to build and maintain client relationships
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work well independently and within a team
* Achieved or working towards RTPI chartership
