Town Planner
Location: Harrogate
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a well-established independent planning consultancy to recruit a Town Planner to join their team in Harrogate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with some experience to progress their career with a consultancy known for delivering high-quality work across residential, rural, commercial, leisure, and mixed-use sectors.
The Role:
You'll be working on a diverse mix of planning projects, supporting the preparation and submission of applications, appeals, development appraisals, and site assessments. You'll liaise with local authorities and clients while contributing commercially informed planning advice across a variety of sectors.
What We're Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning or a related subject
*
Ideally 1-3 years' planning experience in the private or public sector
*
Working towards or recently achieved RTPI accreditation
*
A strong understanding of the UK planning system
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Self-motivated and able to manage a varied workload
