Town Planner - Planning Consultancy

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)

Salary: £28,000-£38,000 DOE + benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative team, supporting a diverse mix of residential, commercial, rural and strategic planning projects.

The Role

As a Town Planner, you will:

Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals and development appraisals

Undertake site assessments, research and analysis to inform planning strategies

*

Engage with clients, local authorities and stakeholders, positively representing the consultancy

*

Contribute to the preparation of planning documents and reports

*

Support senior colleagues on a variety of projects while developing your own portfolio of work

What We're Looking For

1-4 years' experience within a planning consultancy or local authority

RTPI accredited degree (or working towards Chartered status)

*

Strong written and verbal communication skills

*

Ability to manage your time, workload and stakeholder expectations effectively

*

A collaborative and proactive working style
