Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well respected property consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their established Planning team in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner with consultancy or local authority experience to join a well-respected multi-disciplinary property consultancy, working across a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, rural, and mixed-use developments.
The Role
As a Town Planner, you will be involved in delivering planning advice and managing applications across a varied client base. You will work closely with senior members of the team on a range of projects from early-stage site appraisals through to submission, negotiation and determination.
Key Responsibilities

Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
*
Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
*
Reviewing local planning policy and development frameworks
*
Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and key stakeholders
*
Supporting senior planners on larger and more complex projects
*
Managing your own smaller-scale projects
*
Assisting with client communication and project coordination
Candidate Requirements
*
A degree in Town Planning or related discipline
*
MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership
*
Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority
*
Strong report writing and communication skills
*
A proactive and organised approach to workload management
*
Full UK driving licence desirable
