Trailer Technician
Manchester
£36.5K basic + O/T OTE £44K
Monday–Friday 8.30am-5pm (40 hrs)

The Role as a Trailer Technician
An opportunity has arisen with a well-established and respected fleet maintenance company to join them as a Trailer Technician. You will join a team of 5 other technicians in this 6 bay workshop due to increased customer demand
- Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on Trailers for external customers
- Preparing Trailers for MOT, including inspection, rectification, and final presentation
- Diagnosing faults, and completing repairs to a high standard
- Completing all compliance documentation in line with DVSA and company standards
What we’re looking for in the Trailer Technician
- Proven experience gained working on Trailers or HGV’s
- NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent HGV qualification
- Fleet experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of the HGV industry and safety practices
- A team player who can also work confidently on their own initiative
