As a Trainee Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the set up and operation of Bystronic laser cutting machinery
Learning to safely load and unload sheet metal materials using automated systems
Supporting the interpretation of engineering drawings and work instructions
Monitoring machine performance and reporting issues to senior engineers
Carrying out basic checks, housekeeping, and routine maintenance tasks
As a Trainee Engineer, your experience will include:
Holding a Forklift Licence
A genuine interest in engineering or machinery operation
Previous experience within manufacturing or a workshop environment (advantageous)
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn CNC-based systems
Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to hands-on tasks
