Location: Cardiff
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 + Uncapped Commission
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday. 7am-4.30 or 7.30-5pm (shorter hours during school holidays)

Academics are a leading education recruitment agency dedicated to connecting exceptional educators with fantastic schools across South Wales. Our Cardiff office is a vibrant hub of energy, teamwork, and success - and we're now looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team.
As a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant, you'll receive full training and ongoing support to develop your skills and confidence in every aspect of recruitment. You'll learn how to:

Build and manage relationships with schools, teachers, and support staff.

Source and interview candidates to match them with suitable roles.

Develop your own client base through proactive sales and networking.

Provide excellent customer service to both clients and candidates.

We're looking for someone who is confident, outgoing, and great with people. You will be motivated by targets and success. Be highly organised with strong attention to detail, resilient and able to thrive under pressure. Finally, be a team player who brings positivity and enthusiasm every day. Previous recruitment or sales experience is a bonus - but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, energy, and willingness to learn!
