Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers and experienced SEND tutors to provide 1:1 tuition support within a secondary school setting in Norwich.
This opportunity is based within an Outstanding-rated secondary school, supporting a small cohort of approximately 6 secondary and sixth form students who require personalised provision due to a range of SEND and medical needs.
All tuition is delivered within the school environment, therefore applicants should be based locally to Norwich or within a commutable distance.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
The Role
* Deliver 1:1 SEND tuition and intervention support within the school
* Support secondary and sixth form students with additional needs
* Provide tailored academic and pastoral support
* Work closely with school staff and SEND teams
* Flexible opportunities available depending on student allocation
This provision is expected to continue throughout the remainder of the academic year, with a strong likelihood of extending into September 2026 and beyond.
Requirements
* QTS / QTLS or strong SEND tutoring experience
* Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND and/or medical needs
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong safeguarding understanding
* Ability to work effectively within a school environment
