Are you a VAT Manager looking to join a supportive, collaborative in Central London that offer excellent progression?
Our client is a Top 30 firm known for their proactive and driven approach, close-knit teams and vibrant social events. As the largest single office accountancy firm in the UK, the firm is comprised of various specialised teams, led by home-grown, experienced partners.
VAT Compliance Manager responsibilities will include:
Support and mentor junior team members through client calls, regular 1-to-1s, and guidance on meeting compliance deadlines and developing technical skills.
Review and refine internal resources, VAT returns, and EU VAT compliance updates to ensure accuracy and quality.
Manage team operations by preparing monthly management updates and coordinating tax office enquiries, including tracking, risk assessment, and timely responses.
Oversee financial aspects by tracking profitability of enquiries and advising on fees, alongside producing VAT/GST advisory reports across EU, UK, and global jurisdictions
As a VAT Compliance Manager you will be/have:
ACCA or ATT/CTA qualified
Over 5 years+rsquo; Indirect Tax Experience
Managing a portfolio of VAT clients responsible for the delivery of all aspects of assignments
Experience with VAT compliance
Ideally have EU client experience
Staff management experience
