Are you based in or around Shaftesbury and looking fo a stable, day-shift role with an immediate start? As a Warehouse Operative , you will join a well-established distribution business where your work helps keep customer orders moving on time. This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy physical, hands-on work, like clear routines, and want your evenings and weekends free.

This Warehouse Operative position offers consistent weekday hours, a supportive team, and the chance to become a reliable and valued member of the warehouse operation.

As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Picking and packing customer orders accurately

Labelling, wrapping and preparing items for dispatch

Loading and unloading cages, pallets and stock as required (some heavy lifting may be involved)

Keeping your work area clean, safe and well organised throughout your shift

Following instructions and working to targets while maintaining high accuracy

As a Warehouse Operative, your experience will include:

Ideally previous experience in a warehouse , logistics or production environment (not essential as full training is provided)

Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Basic numeracy to check orders, quantities and stock

Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained

Comfortable standing for long periods and carrying out repetitive tasks

Reliability and good timekeeping for a Monday to Friday day-shift role

This Warehouse Operative role would suit someone who has worked as a Warehouse Operative , Picker Packer, Warehouse Assistant or Production Operative, or anyone with similar hands-on experience looking for stable, daytime hours.
