Job Description
*This is temp to perm vacancy
* Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN4
* Experienced PPT/LLOP drivers required
* 2200pm-0600am (Nightshift Sunday-Friday) Pay £15.33/hr (which includes the £2.46 /HR Shift premium)
* 0600am - 1400pm (AM Monday-Friday) pay£13.43/hr (which includes the £0.58/HR Shift premium)
* 1400pm-2200pm (PM Monday-Friday) pay £14.03/hr (which includes the £1.16/HR Shift premium)
* 3 breaks for 8 hours shift - 2 paid!
We are working in partnership with leading pharmaceutical firm to supply Logistics staff to their National Distribution Centre.

The detail, these are the bits we need you to be able to do. If not, we may have more suitable opportunities for you elsewhere.
* Shifts patterns are fixed, there are no rotations and there is no compromise.
* You must have experience on either a Forklift or PPT/LLOP/P20 is essential (it might also help if you can drive a vehicle). Full training and refreshers will be provided but due to the fast-paced nature of the business it's important you are a competent driver.
* Only a few, but some products can weigh up to 25kg. If are unable to work in a fast paced, manual working environment this role isn't for you.
* Pay parity from day one, which is unheard of in Northampton. No waiting for 12 weeks.
* Overtime is paid at time + half of the Basic rate after 37.5 hours and double time at the weekends and for any unsociable hours worked.
You will be conducting the following duties:
* Picking Items for dispatch in a timely, accurate manner
* Packaging Items for dispatch to a high-quality standard
* Using a hand scanner to ensure correct stock is dispatched to the correct customer.
* Using a pallet truck or LLOP to pick heavier items from the grid.
* Using voice picking headset to be guided to locations.
* Ensuring all health and safety requirements are always met, wear safety glasses, Hi-Viz and S3 Safety Boots.
* Keeping your work area clean and safe
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
