Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Location: North West

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling

* Perform cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections

* Complete TMV servicing and showerhead descaling

* Conduct mains chlorinations/injections

* Support closed system flushing, testing, and balancing (acid descale experience advantageous)

* Undertake cooling tower and steam boiler cleaning/testing (desirable but not essential)

* Perform dead leg removals, pipework modifications (plastic, copper, and steel)

* Carry out tank replacements, expansion vessel works, and other remedial plumbing tasks

* Hold NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum qualification)

Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene or Plumbing role

* Sound knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Full UK driving licence (clean)

* Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Salary & Benefits:

* Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (DOE)

* Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
