Water Service Technician
Location: Swindon
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
My client is looking for a reliable and motivated Water Service Technician to join a growing team based in Swindon. This role involves travelling to commercial and industrial sites across the UK to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and water hygiene services.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong maintenance or water hygiene background who is confident working independently, takes pride in delivering high standards of work, and is willing to travel as part of their role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks in line with company and client requirements
* Conducting water hygiene monitoring, including temperature checks, flushing, and inspections
* TMV servicing and basic maintenance
* Cold water storage tank inspections and condition reporting
* Completing basic plumbing repairs and minor remedial works
* Carrying out asset inspections and compliance checks
* Accurately completing service reports and compliance documentation
* Identifying and reporting any non-compliances or remedial works required
* Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
* Representing the company professionally when dealing with clients
Requirements:
* Experience in water hygiene, plumbing, or building maintenance
* Water Hygiene / Legionella Awareness training
* Experience servicing TMVs
* Experience working in commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (advantageous)
