Are you an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator looking to work on high-quality, safety-critical components within a stable and supportive environment?
We're recruiting for a MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a well-established, family-run manufacturing business in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke seating products for the automotive sector, where precision and craftsmanship are key.
What you'll be doing:
* Fabricating and welding a range of seating products and accessories
* Working primarily with tubular steel to produce high-quality assemblies
* Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
* Operating a variety of workshop machinery including saws, press brakes, tube benders, and drill presses
* Carrying out in-process quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
* Assisting with general maintenance of machinery and equipment
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
What we're looking for:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in MIG welding
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Experience within fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
* City & Guilds Level 2 in Welding & Fabrication or equivalent (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Good level of written and spoken English
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
