Tekne have grown since starting out back in 1972 into a leading joinery and construction firm, now working from a 32,000 sq ft factory in Poole and delivering bespoke joinery for some of the country's most prestigious restaurants and hotels. They're looking for a skilled Wood Machinist to join their Wood Mill & Machine Shop team.

As a Wood Machinist, you will benefit from:

Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, with a 30 minute lunch break at 1pm and a 15 minute break at 10am

Overtime available at an increased rate

Working on high-end, bespoke joinery projects across the UK

As a Wood Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

Operating a spindle moulder , resaw and 5 cutter to produce components to specification

Working from drawings and cutting lists to produce accurate, high-quality timber components

Selecting and setting up appropriate tooling for each job

Maintaining a safe, organised working environment

Working closely with the wider joinery and machine shop team to meet project deadlines

As a Wood Machinist, your experience will include:

Proven experience operating a spindle moulder, resaw and 5 cutter, or similar wood machining equipment

Good understanding of timber types and machining techniques

Ability to read drawings and cutting lists accurately

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality finish

Comfortable working as part of a skilled workshop team
