The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that support pupils as they transition through Key Stage 1. You will foster a nurturing classroom environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum as a Year 1 Teacher
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school improvement
* Support the academic, social, and emotional development of pupils
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
* Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for inspiring young learners
* A commitment to high standards and pupil achievement
