Academics are seeking a caring and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner primary schools in Ashford, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting younger learners during a key stage of their early education.

What you'll do as a Year 2 Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and age-appropriate lessons for Year 2 pupils
* Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and motivated
* Prepare pupils for the transition into KS2 by strengthening core literacy and numeracy skills
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff
* Encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
What we're looking for in a Year 2 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / Early Careers Teachers (ECT) welcome
* Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
* Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
